Crisi has popped a belly!
Hi guys! Today is 15 weeks and 3 days! Cris’ belly has popped out and now we have a nice little belly to rub. The Jellybean in there is fluttering around and she describes it’s like the feeling you get when you ride over a bump on a roller coaster and have that moment of zero gravity in your stomach. If I get permission, I’ll post a picture.
This week Cris goes in to have blood drawn for her “quad” tests. I don’t know what the tests are, but we want them all to come out negative as I understand it. Two weeks later, we’ll have another ultrasound. Hopefully we’ll be able to determine the sex at that point.
Thanks for coming to the site!

Hi!
Here is the actual ultrasound video! Check out that little Jellybean moving its arms and legs! And sometimes you can see a blurry area in the middle that keeps fluctuating; that’s the heart beating! Cool!!!!
(If it is choppy, I suggest pausing the video and letting it spool up for a minute before clicking play again.

March 6 Ultrasound
Today, Cris and I went for our third ultrasound. On this visit we were in and out of the doctor’s office in about ten minutes. We met with Beth, the ultrasound technician and she ran the ultrasound and took measurements from the crown to the rump and of the nuchal lucency (don’t ask me what that is…) She said the length was perfect for 12 weeks, 0 days, and that the nuchal lucency was perfect!
Most importantly, this was the first time that Cris and I could really see the baby as a baby. We could see the profile of the baby with the arms and legs moving all over the place. In the pictures, the baby is lying on it’s back with its head on the right hand side of the picture. Some of the pictures you can make out the arms and legs, but they are a bit hard to pick out if you don’t know what you are looking at.
Picture: 1) The baby. 2) Blobby baby with a leg showing in the upper left. 3) Most of the uterus, about to zoom in on the baby. 4) I think you can see the face the best in picture 4. 5) I believe that is a hand floating just above the baby.
Well, there you have it. We were pretty excited. We video taped the show and I’ll try to put that up on the web so you can see the baby moving around. It makes a lot more sense when the legs and arms are moving about!
