My First Haircut

March 7th, 2010

Hi guys!

I got my first haircut this weekend.  I was a big boy through the whole process and sat on Daddy’s lap while the nice lady worked on my hair.  I only freaked out a little bit when the lady took the shaver to my neck, but daddy held me real still and she finished the job.  Then we went to the park for a while and church after that.  I got to meet Father Lawrence – he married Mommy and Daddy and he recently moved to our church.  How cool is that?

Here are a bunch of pictures to check out!  I hope you enjoy them.

Josh

Finger Painting Fun

February 5th, 2010

Long time no post. December and January were long months with the whole family sick with one thing or another.  Josh had a double ear infection and tonsillitis that lasted about a month before we knocked it out.  The ENT said tubes weren’t necessary at this time because it was only his second bad ear infection in 16 months and probably got so bad due to a poor choice of medication on the part of the hospital staff when we first brought him in.  Throughout it all, you probably would not have guessed there was anything wrong with him at all.

However, now that it is all cleared up, there has been a definite improvement in his attitude.  He’s started eating more and seems much happier.

Today he had a lot of fun with finger painting.  Here are some fun pictures of Joshy just before his bath.

Halloween 2009

Boo!!!  The clowns were out in style last night.  We took Josh down the street in his trike and he had fun hanging out with all his friends in their costumes.   Here are some of our favorite pictures.

Josh is One!!!

September 20th, 2009

Here we sit at the end of one of the longest days of our lives, which punctuates what seems to be the shortest year of our lives.  Joshua is one year old and no longer the little baby we brought home from the hospital, but a rough and tumble, walking, running, jibber-jabbering little boy.  He was lucky enough to get to share his first birthday with not only family, but friends and neighbors too.   What we thought would be a small casual get together, turned into a balloon infested, three dimensional advertisement for Sesame Street.  All that really matters is that  Josh ran and played, pulled balloons down, tore paper, ate cake, and smiled all day — even with missing his nap.

I just have to say that Josh was an absolute rock star today.   With a whole household of people milling around and kids running rampant all over the place, he never batted an eye.  He just had a great time and went from person to person to tell them that he was One!  Please enjoy our favorite pictures from today,
